is the founder and the current Executive Director of Women Farmers Association of Kenya (WoFaAK) she has over 30 years’ experience working with farmers in both public and private Agricultural sectors in leadership and management positions.
Daphne has extensive experience in strengthening institutions to design and implement gender-responsive policies. She is a certified expert in rural leadership, agribusiness, climate-smart agriculture, and value chain development and has worked with institutions across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and south Sudan.
Daphne is very passionate women empowerment hence founding the Association.
She serves as a board member in various National boards including the National Women Economic Empowerment Forum, Kenya Forum of Agricultural Advisory Services, National Agricultural Sector Skill Advisory Committee and the National Technical Linkage Group for Gender and Youth in Agriculture and Foresight for Food systems Kenyan Core Team.
